For hosts
“We're having friends over Saturday — and we're bringing a winery with us.”
What you're actually signing up for
An evening that feels closer to visiting the winery than opening a bottle.
You don't need to know anything technical about wine. You need a table, a few friends who enjoy drinking well, and one free night.
Before the night
You pick the winery and the tasting collection, choose a date and a headcount, and place a refundable deposit. You get a private event page to share; guests RSVP there.
Two days out
The tasting wines arrive in one shipment from the winery. You'll get a short host brief: pouring order, serving temperatures, glassware, and how much to open when.
The evening itself
Open the tasting companion on any screen. For each wine, the room sees the vineyard, the varietal, the vintage, the notes and the pairings — and the winemaker can introduce the bottle on video.
Late in the night
Guests mark the bottles they want. Orders can be consolidated into one shipment, and a case-level threshold can unlock free shipping for the group.
After
If the group's purchases reach the winery's threshold, your deposit is refunded or credited under that tasting's terms. A good night costs the host little or nothing.
The cost
What a host pays, and what comes back.
A refundable deposit
Roughly $175 to $650, tracking the value of the wine being shipped. A night of approachable estate bottles sits at the low end; a collector Cabernet flight sits at the top.
No cost for the wine you taste
The tasting collection is part of the experience. Guests buy the bottles they want afterwards, directly from the winery.
Deposit returned on a good night
Reach the winery's sales threshold and the deposit is refunded or credited under that tasting's terms.

We're matching the first hosts with the first wineries by region and taste. There's nothing to pay today.
